Barbara Walters continues to secure high-profile interviews for ABC, and tomorrow night’s two hour special on DISH Network is no exception. At 9:00 PM ET/PT, ABC will air Barbara’s interview with the world famous daytime talk show host, Oprah, on “Oprah, the Next Chapter” which reveals a very personal side of the talk show host as she reveals her next projects after 25 years on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Following “Oprah, the Next Chapter,” Barbara will host ABC’s “10 Most Fascinating People” special which recaps 2010’s biggest buzzworthy names.
According to Barbara Walters “this is an interview about Oprah’s life at this turning point.” Viewers will get to see a personal side of Oprah as she is discusses her next career move with her new network set to launch in January. Oprah also opens up about her close friendship with long-time friend Gayle King, which even brings her to tears. The last time Barbara Walters interviewed Oprah was in 1988, so Walters considers this interview as “coming full circle,” but I doubt this will be the last of Oprah’s interview as she ends her last and premieres her new network initiative in the new year.
As for the “10 Most Fascinating People,” Barbara Walters counts down this year’s most talked about individuals from actresses to athletes. The top two picks for most fascinating people of 2010 will not be revealed until the show airs tomorrow, but you can expect to see video montages of the following people: Sandra Bullock, LeBron James, Sarah Palin, the entire cast of The Jersey Shore, Jennifer Lopez and Kate Middleton. Sarah Palin holds a three-peat on the list, but many of the others listed are newcomers, including Prince William’s fiancee, Middleton.
