If you haven’t heard of FOX’s smash hit ‘Glee’, then you have probably been living under a rock for the past two years. For those of you that haven’t heard about ‘Glee,’ it first aired back in May of 2009 and featured a story about kid’s at McKinley High School. The High School’s Spanish teacher Will Schuester takes over “New Directions,” the school’s Glee Club in hopes of restoring it to its former glory. The crew consists of Rachel Berry, the overly ambitious and talented singer who is bullied by the cheerleaders and football players; Kurt Hummel, a male soprano who is also bullied; Artie Abrams, a wheelchair-bound guitar player; Mercedes Jones, a blinged-out diva who refuses to sing back-up; and Tina Cohen-Chang, an Asian-American goth with a speech impediment. Fast forward through seasons 1 and 2 you see the cast parody a bunch of different music videos and movies like: The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Brittany Spears were among some of the most famous impersonations.
We are now in season 3 and the drama is only just beginning. September 20th 2011 was the premiere of season three and it started with a bang. Reporter Jacob Ben Israel stirs things up to kick off the new school year at McKinley, roaming the halls to ask what seniors will be doing post-graduation. Finn doesn’t seem to have any plans at all, while Rachel has mapped out her expected career path. Mike’s waiting for his parents to tell him which prestigious college he’ll be attending and Kurt is plotting a move to New York with Rachel.
