Dish Network Announces New HD Regional Sports Networks (RSNs)

Dish network launched 8 new High Definition Regional Sports Networks on July 11, 2007! Dish Network customers have been waiting for these HD channels and this is the news that sports enthusiasts and high-definition TV fans have been waiting for. With Dish Networks launch of these new HD Regional Sports Networks, Dish Network will have a total of 17 High Definition Regional Sports Networks available on their Satellite Network. Once again Dish Network has further strengthen their position as the leader in high-definition television!
As with all Regional Sports Networks, Dish subscribers must reside in a qualifying area where an HD RSN is available, subscribe to AT100 Plus or higher, subscribe to DishHD (Which is now available FREE for 6 months!); AND have a DISH Network MPEG-4/HD receiver.
Below are the new channels which will be broadcast form the 61.5 and 129 degree orbital locations.
· Sports Net out of New York for the New York Mets
· Fox Sports Network out of Arizona for the Arizona Diamondbacks
· Fox Sports Network Northwest for the Seattle Mariners
· Fox Sports Network out of Cincinnati for the Cincinnati Reds
· Fox Sports Network out of Pittsburgh for the Pittsburg Pirates
· Fox Sports Network out of Detroit for the Detroit Tigers
· Sports Time out of Ohio for the Cleveland Indians
· Fox Sports Network North for the Minnesota Twins
