The creative team at Sony hosted a launch party last night for its most recent product powered with Google TV software, Sony Internet TV. Sony Internet TV will be available for purchase at Sony Style outlets this weekend and is set to hit Best Buy stores later this month. The Sony Internet TV will retail for $599.99 (24-inch), $799.99 (30-inch), $999.99 (40-inch) and the largest being the 46-inch TV at $1,399.99. This video gives you a look at the product demostration from the Sony Internet TV launch event in New York City, including a preview of how Dish's DVR set up is incorporated. Dish Network customers can use the Google TV search bar to navigate through Video on Demand and DVR advanced content integration through Dish Network HDMI and DVR receivers. If you're not looking to be an early adopter of a television product just yet, but you also want the advantage of live streaming Internet to your TV set, then you can purchase the Logitech Revue, fully equipped with Google TV capabilities, later this month. Logitech Revue is currently retailing for $299 for non-Dish Network subscribers. If you are a member of Dish then you can purchase the Logitech Revue for a discounted price of $179 with all of the added benefits of Google TV with DVR capacity. With the holidays fast approaching, the Sony Internet TV or the Logitech Revue both seem like the perfect gift that everyone in the family can enjoy.
