DISH Network’s “The Tailgater” named 2012 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Award Honoree

DISH Network recently announced that the new Tailgater remote viewing satellite dish has been named an International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree. The Tailgater is a lightweight, portable satellite dish great for watching the game while tailgating or camping in your RV or at other outdoor activities. The qualifications for being entered in this prestigious program are judged by a pre-eminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 32 categories.   • Aesthetic and design qualities

  • Unique/novel features that consumers would find attractive
  • How the design and innovation of the product compares to other products in the marketplace
