DISHing up a Spread of Thanksgiving Programming

DISH Network Airs Macys Thanksgiving Day ParadeWhat better way to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends than to tune in to DISH Network’s holiday programming from college football games to movie specials and that once a year parade starring a huge turkey? The holiday themed programming will be kicking off pre-Thanksgiving when NBC airs two seasoned animated favorites tonight with Merry Madagascar (starring the voices of Ben Stiller and Chris Rock) at 8:00 PM followed by Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special (featuring Jack Black’s and Angelina Jolie’s voices) at 8:30 PM.

Tomorrow will be a day of tradition with the 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airing live on NBC from 9:00 AM until 12, noon. Directly after the parade, viewers can watch the National Dog Show on NBC from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM where the nation’s “best in show” pooch will be crowned. If you don’t already own the Christmas classic, Miracle on 24th Street then you may want to set your DISH DVR ahead of time in case the movie interferes with your Thanksgiving feast. The special movie presentation of the original film starring Natalie Wood and Maureen O’Hara will follow the National Dog Show at 2:00 PM. Country fans get an exclusive behind the scenes look at Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now” tour at 8:00 PM as cameras follow her journey coast to coast performing for thousands of fans on the road.
