If you have ever wondered what was behind the rough exterior of New England Patriots Head Coach, Bill Belichick, here is your chance to find out. In 2009, Robert Kraft and the Patriots agreed to let Ken Rodgers follow around Belichick in hopes of answering the question “what’s the deal with Bill Belichick?” Some would say that if you showed game footage of Belichick after a Patriots touchdown and Belichick after an opponent’s touchdown, you’d never know which one is which. By the time the referee has signaled the score, Belichick is already on to the next play. “I could list a hundred things that surprised me about Bill Belichick—his fishing ability, his golf putter, his sense of humor, his incredible knowledge of football history, his rapport with players, his care as a father, even his choice in Halloween costumes—but you’ll see all those things and more in the film,” said Rodgers. Belichick spent his first 15 seasons in the league as an assistant coach until he was offered a head coaching job with the Cleveland Browns in 1991. While he only featured one winning record coaching with the Browns, he has led the Patriots to four Super Bowl appearances since taking over the head coaching position in 2001.
