Missing out on your team's big game is never a fun moment in time, especially when FOX blocked 19 regional sports channels, including FOX Sports North and FOX Sports Midwest from Dish Network viewers in response to a rate dispute. Local sports stations and TBS will not be affected so rest easily knowing the MLB playoffs and NFL games will be available in the comfort of your home. For news buffs, all is well seeing as you'll be able to access FOX News and FOX Business Channels. Dish Network has tried working with FOX to offer a fair deal, saving its subscribers an increase in their monthly bills as a result of FOX's steep demands. FOX has declined any of these negotiations thus far and they continue to ask Dish Network for a 50% rate increase. Dish Network prides itself on keeping rates low for customers especially during a down economic time.

We'll keep you posted on the breaking news over this rate dispute, for questions, comments or concerns please post below.
