Many TV Networks will be airing commemorative programming this weekend. This is the tenth anniversary of the horrific attack that happened on September 11th. HBO has put together a documentary called, ‘Beyond 9/11: Portraits of Resilience’ that highlights transcendent stories of courage, survival and remembrance, the all-new documentary debuts Sunday, Sept. 11 at 8:46 a.m. (ET). This date and time is ten years to the minute that American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the first World Trade Center. HBO and TIME Magazine in association with HBO, this moving film focuses on untold stories, captured in both words and images. This documentary provides viewers insight into the thoughts and stories of many heroes that were there that day. You will hear testimonials from U.S. Leaders, firefighter, flight attendants, veterans, family members and survivors who miraculously escaped from The World Trade Center Tower Two. These stories are from those who led America, moved the nation and sacrificed for it. This project also includes a special issue of TIME Magazine that will hit newsstands Friday Sept. 9. This 12 page commemorative book will feature photographs from award-winning photographer Marco Grob. For all you New Yorkers, there is also a special TIME.com website and a multi-media exhibit of photographs by Grob at the New York Milk Gallery. TIME has planned for this full film to also be available for viewing on September 11th on a variety of platforms which include HBO.com, HBO Go, HBO On Demand, YouTube, the HBO Facebook page and TIME.com.
