The E! queens have moved to We TV starring in their own reality series 'Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best?' premiering tonight at 9/8c on DISH Network. Joan and Melissa retire from E!'s red carpet gig and begin filming their new reality show at Melissa's homestead as her mother Joan Rivers moves in with her. Joan's reasoning for moving from New York to California with Melissa is so she can spend more time with her grandson Cooper, Melissa's son. Joan will not only be housemate to Cooper and Melissa, but also to Melissa's other live-ins including her boyfriend Jason, a Swedish nanny and another friend that also happens to be male.
The mother-daughter duo claim that they signed up for the show because it's documenting their real lives, completely unscripted. In a recent TV Guide Magazine, Joan stated: "Totally real. That's why we agreed to do it. Though I'm not gonna break a hip unless the cameras are rolling." Whereas Melissa mentioned: "We're old whores. Even when we've forgotten about the cameras, we always find our key light." The always chatty, no holds bar family will bring laughs and drama to viewers homes every Tuesday on We TV. In next week's episode, Joan even goes so far as filming her daughter in the shower in order to send a tape into 'Girls Gone Wild' friend and producer Joe Francis.
