The MTV reality series that displays the challenges, drama and hard times of being pregnant at 16 years old, continues tomorrow on MTV for a second season of “16 and Pregnant.” This show really has a way of sucking in viewers, not just teenagers, but their parents too. This season, MTV will document the lives of nine different girls going through the most intense experience of their lives for five to seven months, from putting their social lives on hold and often times having to drop out of school and give up on their dreams. The hour-long documentary takes viewers into the private lives of these young girls, with some learning quicker than others that adulthood is just nine months down the road. As entertaining as this show may be, with previous teen moms even appearing on the cover of tabloid magazines and MTV talk shows, for many teenagers, just watching this show is probably birth control enough. Viewers can expect to see stories about family challenges, rebellion, adoption efforts and more.
MTV also appropriately displays numerous commercials leading TV viewers to different teen pregnancy prevention resources and websites in order for the network to do its part in helping any other teens in need. With over one million fans on Facebook, this popular MTV series proves to be both intriguing, informative and slightly addicting for everyone.
Viewers can catch the “16 and Pregnant” premiere tomorrow, October 26th at 10/9c, in HD through their satellite television provider. For more information on how you can watch your favorite TV shows through your satellite TV service, visit Dish Systems, authorized DISH Network retailer.
