With baseball season right around the corner, Showtime Sports®, part of DISH Network programming, in partnership with MLB Productions is revealing a sneak preview of 'The Franchise: A Season with the San Francisco Giants,' on April 13. The one-hour series will document the 2010 World Series Champions in their preparation for defending their national title, showing 2011 Spring Training efforts in Arizona and half of the 2011 regular season. The documentary series (or docuseries) will air in its entirety on DISH Network, July 13, 2011. Even if the San Francisco Giants are not "your team," there's still something in it for every sports fan - similar to the HBO sports docuseries 'Hard Knocks,' which follows the lives of different NFL teams and their players and coaches during the season. From Andres Torres taking on strenuous outdoor workouts in his True Religion jeans to Tim Lincecum crusing around the city, 'The Franchise' takes MLB fans where they've never been before. Check out the preview below to see why 'The Franchise' can not be missed, pairing perfectly with the start of the 2011 MLB season during the special preview on April 13 at 9:30/8:30c.
