NBC Orders Reality Series for Betty WhiteNo, this is not an April Fool's joke, but Happy April Fool's Day nonetheless. Just when you thought Ashton Kutcher was the only person in television to go around Hollywood punking his friends, guess again. NBC, part of DISH Network programming, is giving Betty White, 89, her own reality prankster show called 'Betty White's Off Their Rockers' where senior citizens play pranks on young folks caught on film by hidden video cameras for viewer entertainment. According to an Associated Press article, Betty White commented on her upcoming reality series: "People have been telling me that I'm `off my rocker' for years — now I can prove it."

The twelve episode series is based off of a Belgian reality show that has also aired in other European countries, now making it's way to the U.S. with America's favorite senior citizen grouped with seven other seniors citizens. A veteran of NBC programming, White won the Emmy in 2010 for hosting 'Saturday Night Live' and used to star in the sitcom 'Golden Girls.' White currently stars in TV Land's 'Hot in Cleveland' which airs Wednesdays at 10pm.
