The CW doesn’t plan on taking a summer break. They plan to keep five summer premieres unspooling over the next few months. Now that ‘Gossip Girl’, ‘90210’, etc have taking their summer break, the Primetime slots are being filled by great new feature programming that you won’t want to miss! ‘The Catalina’ is one of the shows that should already be heating up your summer. ‘The Catalina’ is a reality show centered on a group of young staffers working at The Catalina hotel in Miami’s South Beach. We watch as this dysfunctional family unit, parties even harder than their guests. Think Jersey Shore meets South Beach. The second show that has already premiered is ‘Breaking Pointe’ a story that gives viewers a look into the true world of ballet. For the first time ever, the beauty and grace of ballet, the world’s preeminent dance form, will be brought to television. Viewers will get a first-hand look of the seemingly “perfect” world, the jealousy, competition and intensity that exist behind the scenes at a professional ballet company. Here is a list of the other shows you can expect from The CW Network this summer.
