DISH enters multi-year agreement to carry AMC, IFC, WE tv, SundanceChannel and Fuse; AMC channel broadcast resumes Sunday, October 21. The AMC channel will be carried on DISH channel131. Walking Dead fans who are subscribers to Dish Network can rejoice, just in time for the 3rd season, Dish network gets The Walking Dead back on the airwaves. After months of dispute, Dish Network and Voom have reached an agreement. Now Dish subscribers can now enjoy one of the most popular shows on TV once again. Other AMC Networks programming, including Sundance Channel, WE tv and IFC, will return to DISH Nov. 1. The Madison Square Garden Company’smusic-oriented Fuse channel will begin broadcast Nov. 1, as well. “We are glad to have settled the case and reestablished our long-term relationshipswith AMC Networks and Cablevision,” said Dave Shull, senior vice president of Programming at DISH. “This multi-year deal delivers a fair value for both parties and includes digital expansion opportunities for AMC Networks’ programming.” The Walking Dead airs Sunday at 9/8 central.
