Why We’re Watching the 2011 GRAMMYs – Bieber, Barbra and Bob…Dylan That Is

The GRAMMYs is not just another awards show; it's perhaps one of the most entertaining nights in television mostly due to the performances by today's high profile recording artists that keeps fans and viewers talking until the next year. You can watch 'Music's Biggest Night' with performances by all of your favorite artists in HDTV this Sunday on CBS at 8:00 PM, part of DISH Network programming. The 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be bringing the best stars in the industry to the stage with multiple performances from music genres across the spectrum. The following musicians will be gracing the award show Sunday night with anticipated performances: Justin Bieber with Usher and Jaden Smith, Bruno Mars, B.o.B, Janelle Monáe, Arcade Fire, Lady Antebellum, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert, Muse, Katy Perry and Cee Lo Green. Just added to the list of performances includes Rihanna, Drake and Gwenyth Paltrow. Other highly anticipated performances include ten-time GRAMMY winner and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Bob Dylan with GRAMMY nominee Mumford & Sons and folk-rock band the Avett Brothers, plus Dr. Dre will perform with Eminem and Maroon 5's Adam Levine. Speaking of Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Awards, Barbra Streisand will be on hand Sunday night to accept one of the music industry's highest honors. Female recording artists will also pay tribute to Aretha Franklin in a joint performance that includes rock, soul and country singers. Dave Grohl and Selena Gomez recently announced the nominees for 'Song of the Year' (see the video below). Also nominated in the category for 'Best Album of the Year' are the following nominees: 'The Suburbs' (Arcade Fire), 'Recovery' (Eminem), 'Need You Now' (Lady Antebellum), 'The Fame Monster' (Lady Gaga) and 'Teenage Dream' (Katy Perry).
